The Festival for 2008 was a success, despite the flooding that occurred in the River Valley area. A special "Thank You" to Mike & Denise Spude for the years they have given as Chairs of the festival. and thanks to Karl Kraemer & Kris Herbrand and Ty & Sue Ruhland for the hard work they gave as co-chairs for this year's festival. We are currently looking for a parish family (couple or couples) to replace Mike & Denise. If you are interested, please contact Fr. Mike or the Parish Office. Thank you to all Parish and School families for your past help. Your participation and support are what makes our community strong.
In appreciation to those who attended and supported St. Luke's Festival, even during that flooding weekend. $1,000 was collected during the weekend for the flood relief fund at Peoples Community Bank. It was decided that an additional $5,000 from the Festival proceeds would be donated to those still in need. We also wish to extend a gracious thank you to Bob Berry, Joe Kraemer, The Kraemer Company, Kraember Brothers and Edward Kraemer & Sons for all the "extra" efforts given to allow us to hold the Festival.
